Memphis International Airport is a joint military-civil public airport which is located 3 miles (5 km) to the south of central business district in Memphis; it’s a city in the county of Shelby in Tennessee which is operated and owned by Airport Authority of Memphis and Shelby County. Memphis International Airport (MEM) is known as home to FedEx Express and is the global "Super Hub," that processes a major segment of freight carrier's packages.
